Levels of air pollution across London continue to be investigated by researchers, including King's College London scientists, who found concentrations of fine particles in air on the Underground network to be roughly 15 times greater compared to roadside. This has fuelled discussion, most recently by London's mayor, Sadiq Khan, on ways to tackle this air pollution issue, as reported in the Evening Standard.
