Lay protocol of Municipal Waste Incinerators study published

Centre investigators from the Small Area Health Statistics Unit (SAHSU) at Imperial College and the Environmental Research Group at King’s College London are conducting a study investigating potential associations between reproductive and infant health and emissions from municipal waste incinerators (MWIs) in England, Scotland and Wales. The study was announced in January 2012 by the Health Protection Agency, whose functions have since been transferred to Public Health England. A lay protocol describing the study design and methodology is now available on the SAHSU website.
